Romanian Point Lace
Romanian point lace, also known as macramé lace or Hungarian point, is a European tape lace created by basting hand-crocheted cord to an intricate design and then filling in areas between the cord with needle lace and needle weaving. This technique produces a firm lace. This motif is ivory and measures 17 x 6.50 inches. It was made in Romania. A wonderful piece to frame, use as a doily or add distinction to a tablecloth or table runner.
